Hugo Improvement Partnership (H.I.P.) is a 501(c)(3) public charity in Hugo, Colorado.Community improvement, capacity building, and business promotion — organizing events and supporting local projects that strengthen Hugo, Colorado.
Materials describe nearly half a century of community improvement work — protecting local heritage, organizing celebrations, and supporting residents and businesses on the eastern plains.
Whether you run a shop on main street, farm outside town, or want to help at a festival — there is a place for you in H.I.P.

From early improvement projects to today’s festivals and 501(c)(3) structure, H.I.P. has stayed local — led by volunteers who live the story they tell.
A partnership takes root
Neighbors organize around a simple idea: Hugo improves when residents, merchants, and volunteers work as one. Public materials describe nearly half a century of community service.
Festivals become the calendar
